The Travel Corporation Opens East Coast Sales Office
November 16, 2016
The Travel Corporation (TTC) has announced plans to increase the company’s presence on the East Coast of the U.S. with a new Manhattan office, placing Guy Young in charge under the title Global Brand Engagement Officer.
The global travel company comprising Trafalgar, Insight Vacations, Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection, Contiki, and African Travel, Inc. currently has a small office in Rye, New York, for the Insight Vacations and Luxury Gold brands, but the need to establish an additional office on the East Coast has arisen due to increased demand among all of the brands, the company said.
Young, a longtime executive with TTC, has extensive experience in the industry, serving most recently as CEO of Uniworld. In the New York office, Young will work closely with the various brands to identify business opportunities, build stronger relationships, and establish a larger physical footprint on the East Coast.
The new office will be set to open early in the new year. With its opening, TTC will be hiring additional sales managers to increase the support to their travel partners. Young will relocate full-time to the East Coast next year.
