Here’s what you need to know to sell them.
KapohoKine Adventures’ Thanksgiving Nohona Event
KapohoKine Adventures is inviting hands-on foodies to eat what you harvest this Thanksgiving at the company’s first-ever Thanksgiving Nohona Hawaii event.
Clients will harvest kalo (taro) from KapohoKine Adventures’ mala (garden) along with other canoe plants and traditional vegetables. They will also learn how to prepare kalo for planting, harvesting and cooking.
After a cooking demonstration, guests will enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner incorporating several of the ingredients harvested.
The Thanksgiving Nohona Hawaii will be held on Thanksgiving, November 24, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and is $499 per person, plus tax. Event attendance will be limited to 10 participants.
