Chick-fil-A unveiled its 11th local outpost at the corner of Charleston Boulevard and Fort Apache Road back in early January and later this year will be joined by another very popular counter-service chain, launching its second Las Vegas expansion.
California Fish Grill filed paperwork to remodel empty suite 170 inside the mixed-used building, sitting across from Boca Park and less than a mile from Tivoli Village. The overhaul will include replicating the brand’s “industrial chic” interior design and securing permits for offering wine and beer.
Featuring more than 50 entrees, salads, and appetizers prepared in an open kitchen, the menu focuses on sustainably sourced seafood including Atlantic salmon, tilapia, mahi mahi, branzino, and catfish, plus calamari, shrimp, ahi poke, fish and chips, and taco combination plates.
California Fish Grill’s 2,800-square-foot Spring Valley restaurant was unlucky to debut in February last year, close to the 215 at the intersection of Rainbow Boulevard and Sunset Road, but has since returned to daily service from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and closing at 9.30 p.m. Thursday to Saturday.
Growing to more than 40 West Coast locations within the next 12 months, California Fish Grill has yet to announce the new Las Vegas site or an estimated opening date.
